My Parents migrated to the United States from the carribean island of Grenada, WI, in the 1950s. It is a beautiful country with a proud culture. I was Born and educated in Washington, DC.
I've worked in several fields that have helped in developing disciplines that are needed in photography. I was once a Civil draftsman, a sales associate, and a college and high school track coach. I am an avid traveler. because of my athletic experience in Track and field, the sport also opened doors and introduced me to many states and countries. I take my camera everywhere.
For years, I've been a caregiver for both parents, and recently an uncle. caregiving is a beautiful way to witness life. there are challenges and very bright moments while caring for others. photographing people is a passion. I realize there is a beauty in the human experience and catching the characteristics of a person in order to tell their story is important to me.
After 24 years as a freelance photographer, i decided an B.A Degree would bolster my experience to provide a better production for my client. Southern New Hampshire University has provided a stronger base on which to build on.
