My focus is on capturing the culture and events that reflect a historic lens for my clients. I am aware of the importance of recording a story through skillfully captured images, so I strive to interpret the content of an event and convey the mood, emotion, seriousness, or celebration it evokes. I’ve challenged myself by learning cutting-edge techniques and adapting the styles of other photographers that I admire. Photography has been an experience that has opened doors and created relationships that have enhanced my life.
I started in film. The foundation of this early training has sharpened my understanding of proper exposure and post-development. In addition to being self-taught through the years, my skills are bolstered by a degree in Digital Photography, which explores lighting techniques, Photoshop and Lightroom enhancements, portraiture, and the artistic knowledge of fine photography.
